In January, I attended the EnExDi Winter School “Les humanités numériques dans les projets de recherche” at the Université de Poitiers (France). Over the course of five days, we learned the basics of digital humanities, both in terms of best practice and methodological considerations. We worked with a range of approaches and techniques, including text encoding, automatic language processing, semantic and stylistic analysis, data visualisation and digital dissemination of research results.
